Goldhill on healthcare

The Atlantic has a great article on health care by David Goldhill that marshals many important facts and makes many great points. I think it could have been edited better (i.e. shorter), and I don't agree with all of the policy prescriptions. I don't think government can Constitutionally "force" people to purchase health insurance. They can probably tax the hell out of us if we don't, however. But Goldhill makes clear the many ways our health care markets are horribly distorted and the very negative--and for Goldhill, very personal--consequences. A worthwhile read.
